Die meisten Laserstrahlaufweitungsspiegel sind im Galilei-Design und bestehen aus einer Kombination aus positiven und negativen Linsen.Aufgrund ihres geringen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten und ihrer einfachen, kompakten Bauweise sind sie weit verbreitet.Kleinere fokussierte Punkte werden durch die Verstärkung des Laserstrahls erreicht.
